How about a feature to schedule the date of release for project news and journal entries, like a blog publishing schedule. That way, curators could enter several new journal entries when time allows, but schedule each one to be released at different dates. Or, if multiple people are entering journals, they can see the other scheduled publishing dates and not publish a journal right on top of another. This will space the journal releases and news so those subscribed to a project get occasional releases, as opposed to several right in a row.
