In the detail of my observation, I can see section “Annotations” in the right column, where I can fill in the field “Evidence of presence” with values like Tracks/Scat/…:
Now, on my trip, I found some scat :), and I would like to search iNaturalist for scat records of all mammals in my area. Is it possible to filter these in the Search? I was not successful.

still hope iNat will enable annotating single photos. Now we get ALL the photos in any obs which includes ‘scat’.
