Searching for species that I havent observed at Research-Grade level

I already know that “&unobserved_by_user_id=” will narrow down an explore search to exclude my observations. However, I know that I have some species observations that are not research-grade for various reasons and I would like such observations to not be excluded. Is there a different search term to only exclude species that I have at research grade?

ex: I’ve observed species A and B, but only A has enough community feedback for research grade. “&unobserved_by_user_id=” will exclude both A and B, but I would like to exclude only A.

there’s some related discussion here: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/how-can-see-species-i-havent-observed-in-a-specific-region/61466, and maybe here, too: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/compare-lists-to-see-what-i-should-look-for/60472/8.

I don’t think that’s possible unfortunately. The main problem is that most filters filter by observations, not species (with couple exceptions like “unobserved_by_user_id”). I’m afraid you’ll have to do some good old programming for this one. ChatGPT is actually very knowledgeable of iNaturalist’s API, so try that!
Kind regards!
