Setting Observation Time in iNaturalist

I am new to iNaturalist and find myself unsure how I am supposed to record the time of my observations since the system includes the time difference from GMT. If I am three hours ahead of GMT and see something at 6 am local time, do I record it as 6 and just have the time difference from GMT as an added extra? Or do I record it as 3 am (i.e. 3 + 3 hours ahead = 6)? Sorry if this should be obvious, but I want to make sure to do this properly.

My understanding is that generally local time is best. GMT should only be used if you are in the GMT timezone.

You have to go to settings and change time zone there, after that use bulk edit and change time zone for your observations.
