Hey people, I have been having some trouble with trying to find a shape file for a research project I’m doing with iNat data. I am trying to find a file similar to this one here: https://www.inaturalist.org/places/north-america, and I was wondeirng if anyone knows how to download it off the website.

Just curious - does that work for any other geo-formats, or just kml?
You can get a geojson, e.g. https://www.inaturalist.org/places/geometry/north-america.geojson
I don’t think you can get anything else.
and the caveat here is that the boundaries will be simplified when you get a kml or geojson this way.
Ok, thank you a ton! I had been trying to manually piece together a bunch of shp files for different countries, and this was just so, so much easier.
