Sort observations by when they reached research grade?

This might be a long shot, but I like to keep track of my RG species, and sometimes I can see that one has been added because my research-grade species count goes up, but I can’t determine which species has been bumped up. Is there a way to use search filters or the life list to determine which species became research grade?

You could sort by date updated in Explore as an approximation, but if you get a lot of agreeing IDs spread over a long time it would be less helpful.

How do you do that? I can only see the options for sorting by date of upload, date of observation, and by “popularity”.

You could also go through your notifications/dashboard and find it that way (that’s how I usually do it). But depending on how many notifications you get, that might be more or less feasible. Also, I guess any sort of documentation of which species got bumped to RG when would take a lot of manual labour with this way, so it might not be an ideal solution.

Looks like it’s actually only on Identify in the dropdown.

But you could add &order_by=updated_at to the Explore url.
