What is happening here?
This is an Endangered subspecies, but iNaturalist has now made it “Least Concern.” based on the GENUS!! - which is totally wrong.
Furthermore, this is attributed to me, but it had nothing to do with me: this is purely iNaturalist “inheritance”

Simply, any “inherited” status from a higher taxon level should NEVER overwrite a higher threat status given at that level.
