I expected the computer vision system to have kicked in by now. Why doesn’t the suggestion algorithm say: “I’m pretty sure this is in subgenus: Trillium subgenus Sessilium.” Did we skip a step?
Running the computer vision model is quite resource-intensive, so I think the staff only run it a couple times a year.
Yeah, we only update the model about twice a year. It takes months to train a model and we started our most recent training run this past September.
