Description of problem:

Step 1: Add genus-level ID to a new observation

Step 2: Add infraspecies (subspecies or variety) ID to observation. Do not add species-level ID.

Step 3: ID should be either the species or the infraspecies, as happens when a species-level ID is added, yet it remains stuck at genus level.
