When I try to filter the observations in the Imperial Valley Plants project by “threatened”, it doesn’t seem to work. I results that include Eucalyptus camaldulensis, for example.
Step 1:
Go to the Imperial Valley Plants project: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/imperial-county-plants
Step 2:
Click on “Species” (there are 801 currently): https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?project_id=13398&place_id=any&verifiable=any&captive=any&view=species

Step 3:
Click on “Filters” and select “threatened” and then update search. That will filter it to 43 species currently. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?captive=any&place_id=any&project_id=13398&threatened&verifiable=any&view=species

Step 4:
Scroll down and see that the results include species like Eucalyptus camaldulensis, which is a non-native invasive.

welcome to the forum

there is no bug here; that search is returning Eucalyptus camaldulensis because it has a global status of near threatened on iNat
