I’ve contacted both observers hoping they’ll withdraw those IDs or agree with the correct ones. Ive never encountered this issue before.

Tripped over a CNC obs from Cochabamba today.
User is Suspended.
But their wrong ID remains. For ever. Unchanged.
Unfortunately for a snail - with NO obs on iNat, so it is Obscured. Again forever. Garden plant so I can push to Casual at least.

Why will this thread close in 2 hours? The bug in how iNat works is real, and not resolved.

Thanks to curator - ID hidden, and mine is resolved.
@sc_beetles if you don’t get a response, you could flag the IDs - if you feel the intent is either malicious or joking. Doesn’t work if it is an honest mistake.
