When creating or editing an observation and then selecting “add to projects” - I see a list and tapping on one of the projects highlights it in green for a split second but does not show whether it has been selected or not. When I upload my observation it seems to automatically go to all the project…

Collectional projects add your or any observations automatically without you manually adding them if they fit criteria. You need to manually add obs only to traditional projects.

Thank you! I found this link that explains it (for any others as ignorant as me). https://www.inaturalist.org/pages/managing-projects I will delete the bug report (though I still think the interface could be improved)
