Unable to use compare function on website

For some time, I’ve been unable to use the compare function or click on the subject to read more about it when I am on the iNat website on my laptop, (Win10) even with the VPN shut off.
Chrome acts like it’s going to open a new tab but then it disappears.
Website works fine when used on my Android tablet. Has anyone else encountered this issue or have any suggesstions to fix? Thanks!

since the issue is on a Windows machine only, it sounds like the issue resides in that particular machine. i would check to see if there are any extensions in your browser and try turning them off as a first thing to try. it’s hard to get a better idea of what’s going on without more details though. screenshots might provide more information if you’re still encountering issues after turning off extensions.
