Unintended behavior when editing past observations on mobile app

Description of problem:

Step 1: Search by map area of own observations

Step 2: enter one observation

Step 3: update species id, location, or location privacy

Step 4: save updates and scroll to next in list

Step 5: Repeat 2-3 times

Step 6: Suddenly I am on my first observation ever made (the linked observation) and it may have all the data the same but the species id will be of the one I had originally clicked on (not the ruffed grouse).

Step 7: Click out and then start editing again and I can now only access the linked observation

Step 8: regardless of whether I make sure everything is correct, it still shows as if I changed the id of the linked observation to the id of whichever observation I was trying to edit

I am so unknowing about how creating/running apps and websites works, so I don’t know if it’s my repetitive behavior that causes it to bug out or if its a genuine problem.

The next time this happens, can you please send us log files from the app? To send log files, go to the About tab in the iNaturalist app and tap three times on the version number. You will then have the option to email the log files to us.
