Updated text described in iNat blog is not showing up in the FAQ

Step 1: From Dashboard, go to ‘More’, ‘Help’, ‘Frequently Asked Questions - Observations - 5’

Step 2: In another tab, go to iNaturalist Blog, ’ Piloting an Establishment Annotation with Amphibians and Reptiles’ (March 26, 2024), 2nd comment

The update described in the blog post does not show up in the FAQ.

iNat is migrated Help documentation to help.inaturalist.org where the referenced text is displayed, see:

This does mean that there will be an older version still showing for the time being. Not ideal, but probably not totally avoidable either as the new help gets filled out. I doubt this is a bug per se.

How do you get to the new help pages from the dashboard?

It was “soft launched” earlier this year so I assume it will eventually be in the footer of all pages, but for now there’s a link to it at the top of the old Help page, including a disclaimer about how that page may be out of date.
