I have always wanted to be able to visualize what species and families I’ve seen as a tree of life. Something like this http://www.onezoom.org/life.html/@biota=93302#x443,y604,w0.5822 I think it would be an awesome feature to add to the lists we have now, being able to zoom in to the tree see where they branch of etc. Granted this is not very important i would love to see it added.
You could vote for this feature request (https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/implement-taxonomic-view-for-observations-search-page/244) which was borne out of very much the same sentiment.
