I had major issues with this in 2019/2020 - see this thread - https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/not-all-observations-uploading/4946/54?u=karoopixie - possibly related to adding life stage fields.
I could find the missing obs on my calendar page, but the obs themselves would not load (endless spinning Wheel of Death), and they had to be re-indexed.
