What are the latest definitions to taxonomic ranks of plants (Phylum to form)

Hello dear Inatulalist

i was wondering what are the latest scientific definitions to current taxonomic ranks. for example, when i can say this taxon is family, or subfamily or genus, … etc. I found a brief explanation regarding ranks between species to form on KEW website. However, other ranks I’m not sure i have the latest updates.

Do you mean what terms are used for each rank? Or do you mean what is the definition of Class, what is the definition of Order, and so on?

If you are looking for the formal definitions, they are in the 2018 International Code of Nomenclature for Algae, Fungi, and Plants (ICN), Division II, Chapter 1 (here).
