I recently got a Herwicm binocular microscope as a gift, but I have very little experience in microscopy. I have used other microscopes here and there, but never avidly. I am hoping to become somewhat successful in identifying fungi through spore microscopy. I am curious if anyone has any beginner tips for me, even the very basics. Thank you in advance!
It would be helpful to know more about this microscope. What magnification or range of magnifications? Does it have a built in digital camera? Do you have examples of observations taken with it?
