What happened to map quality?

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):
I don’t know if this is a bug with my system or just a feature of iNat that has changed since the last time I used the “explore” feature, but I don’t remember the maps being so washed out that you can hardly see anything on them other than a few place names.

It looks like you just need to turn back on the satellite layer in the map. The button between List and Places of Interest

There’s a problem with “map” layer, letters are hardly seen and there’s no green as if when you open map in Google:
