On maps in the taxon page, some areas sometimes have a section with a green overlay. What does this mean? for example https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/587959-Isoglossa-cooperi
It is the District Municipality layer that appears when you zoom in.
that layer is for checklist places. depending on your map zoom level, the polygons in the layer could be counties (or equivalent), states (or equivalent), or countries. according to this other post:
there’s a layer selector at the top right corner of the taxon map where you can choose to deselect the checklist place layer if you don’t want to see it.
