I’m wondering if there is a way to change the default overlays displayed on the map on a taxon page. At present, on my system, these are displayed with “Checklist places” and “Verifiable Observations”. See screen capture. At times, I find the Checklist places to be visually distracting. Can I set a default map view to deselect those and leave them available as an option? The example is from the taxon page for Ipomopsis multiflora.
it doesn’t look like there’s a way to make the checklist places deselected by default. this might require to a feature request to get the ball rolling on a system change.
