Specifically, the hump over the twin macnine guns in the nose.
I see, thank you!
Sure! Awesome to get away with talking about aircraft and tanks without getting off topic of nature.
Also, I love the A-10 Warthog
The Marder III (German for marten) [technically not a tank but rather a tank destroyer who’s only purpose is to destroy tanks.]
And the Elefant (German for elephant) tank destroyer.
I love the foxbat. Wasn’t that made to destroy the SR-71 Blackbird?
Wow, I looked that up because I’ve never heard of it. It’s super cool.
Is there any other tanks named after any animals?
It’s also possible to do multiple quotes in a single reply, like this.
When you have a reply open, you can select text from multiple previous posts from other people and quote them all in one reply. It’s generally preferable to do that rather than make 5 separate replies in a row on the same thread.
You explained that perfectly.

Wasn’t that made to destroy the SR-71 Blackbird?
That’s been suggested but it’s probably not the msin reason. The Blackbird was faster than the Foxbat.
If you think about it, the idea of a fruit-eating bat taking out a melodious thrush is kind of weird.
Ooh, okay, thanks.
Oh, the Blackbird! I forgot about that one!
Yup! This one!
Foxbat is a fuel guzzler. Look at how massive the afterburners are.
I watched The Eagle Has Landed last night and was reminded of the Fieseler Fi-156 “Storch” (Stork). The ‘common name’ of the plane is a reference to the long, thin landing gear of the plane – reminiscent of those of a stork – which were designed to help it land on makeshift airstrips.
Awesome choice! I just looked up that movie and it looks pretty good. Thanks for mentioning it.
Fish tanks. I’ve always loved them.
Hahahahaha
Hey, good one .
