So this is a new one for me, maybe not for others. Someone posted photos of clearly artificial plants. Some ID’ers listed the observation under human - is there a protocol for this? Should we be flagging these observations instead? Thanks.
Label the post as Homo sapiens – this is a construction created by humans – and let it quietly disappear into Casual.

That is the protocol. ID as ‘evidence of’ Homo sapiens = Casual. Then we can all ignore it.

“Human” is the right ID. You can click the “construction” annotation, if you’re feeling ambitious. FWIW, I personally find it amusing to post observations of wild organisms on fake organisms. The iNat CV model happily identified the bottlenose dolphins that these boat-tailed grackles are perched atop: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/251942055
