When it comes to what flowers would I put in a flower bed, I am partial to yellow and orange Asteraceae. Tagetes marigolds, Cape marigolds, Mexican sunflowers, zinnias of those colors, leopard’s bane. When I am in the Dominican Republic, I have to admit that I love the meadows covered with creeping oxeye, even though it is considered weedy.
