I’m wondering: why are Budapest slugs called so, as there are no such slugs in Budapest? 
I have a whole plant cathegory which is carrying such a misleading name.
Look at persicaria plants.

The Tagetes marigold genus common names are like that too.
The Budapest slug (Tandonia budapestensis) was described from Budapest.

There are observations in the Budapest vicinity, but I would guess there are not many slug observers or identifiers in the region, so the species is not well represented there on iNat.
