I was going to add my support to this request, but I can see it is closed !! I also noted a 20MB limit on any uploaded file, so space is clearly an issue. This being the case it surely makes logical sense to support a file format which compresses a 20MB jpg file into less than 1MB ?
Because the functionality was added. If there are issues, then please make a bug report in Bug Reports and fill out the bug report template when you do.
