When I’m working on posting an observation and the Description box has a scroll bar (i.e., when it has more than two lines), I experience major problems with cutting portions of text—the window tends to scroll wildly up and down. Are other people besides me fighting this irritant when cutting and pasting Description text?

I find that annoying too but if you’re using the web version you can expand the description box that’s on the left side of the screen to give you more room to work.

You can also set the same description for multiple observations by selecting them and then typing or pasting in that box. Same with location, date/time, and taxon.

Yes, I have used it that way before, though I hadn’t thought to use it for individual obs or noticed its expandability.
