The photo shown against one of my observations is sometimes wrong and is wrongly attributed to me. (See screenshot #1.) The correct photo is shown in the main part of screenshot #2 but you can see the incorrect thumbnail in the top right hand corner.

Can you clarify what is unexpected about the screenshots? Everything looks normal to me. You just have a notification for this observation while viewing this one. (They do happen to have similar common names.) Or are you saying that notification opened the second observation?
Agreed, the observation for the image in your first screenshot is the one that had a new identification on May 5, not the observation in the second image. That observation was made by you, which is why the photo is attributed to you. Are you saying this isn’t actually your observation?
Sorry if I didn’t explain it well. The photo in screenshot #1 was not taken by me but is attributed to me. It appeared when I followed up on the notification at top right of screenshot #2. My original photo (the poorer image!) is shown in full in screenshot #2.The images depict different species. Clicking on the notification opens up screenshot #1 with the wrong photo.

The stink bug is not my observation. I wish it were- it is a great shot.
