What a beautiful photo! I love how the croc is just slumped by the side of the water, drinking in the sun.
Lovely! That egret is especially gorgeous
That pose is awesome! I love the little guy’s expression!
Oh. My god. That is genuinely an insanely cool photo. Thats awesome dude!
I know what you mean. I love catching them with interesting expressions (or in interesting poses). Still have not gotten one in mid-wahoo, but that’s a goal for this year.
I absolutely love the Coot in mid-splash!
The splashing coot is truly a masterpiece!
That is SO pretty! Amazing photo!!
Who eats whom?? The whimbrel was fighting for quite a while with the crab, only when I was processing the photos I saw that the crab got hold of the beak as well. I enlarged it, so it’s technically not perfect.
That was on Sunday, so Monday is another week - and finally my first butterfly of the year!
Okay, now I finally have something. After getting 13+ inches of snow, it finally began to melt. So, I thought why not search for some springtails since the snow wasn’t too thick. Not just did I find a bunch of springtails, while clumsily stomping around, I saw this juvenile Shizocosa avida on the snow. It was relatively sluggish since it was so cold, and after spending several minutes photographing it, I placed it into a warmer, open grass patch. I meant to add the photo sooner, but my usual photo editor (Darktable) kept crashing.
I love the first photo!
Wow, the first one is absolute perfection.
