if i take a private observation and change its geoprivacy to obscured, other users will see that observation marked as obscured, but the map on the observation will say that the location cannot be shown because it is private. i have to change the observation to open and then to obscured before the obscured location will show on the observation’s map.
changing an observation from private to obscured is probably an unusual thing to do, but i think it should work without having to transition through open geoprivacy.
