I know you’re supposed to be able to change the example photos shown of taxa, but I can’t find how to do it?
I’m using a PC & browser, not the app.
The option is ‘Edit photos’ in the ‘Curation’ dropdown, at the right just below the graph on a taxon page.
While you can do it, as outlined by @grampianshiker, it’s best not to unless you have a very good reason to.

You can. But weigh up your change first - we have history - so everyone can see - who changed the picture, when.

Hmmm. I have only “Flag for curation”, “View Flags” and “History” under the curation dropdown. I take it the “Edit photos” function is only available to moderators?
I do.
You have to have at least 50 verifiable observations, among other things, to be able to edit taxon photos. See this forum post: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/unable-to-edit-taxon-photos-of-almost-all-species-is-there-a-user-limit/59145
most users (aside from relatively new accounts and/or accounts with few verifiable observations) can edit taxon photos

Ah. I have 8000 identifications, but only a dozen observations.
EDIT: I’ll submit the photo change as a flag.
