Adding synonym to a taxon

How do I add a no longer accepted synonym of a plant to the accepted one?
For example, Citrus medica var. sarcodactylis is a synonym of Citrus × limon?

I don’t want to add the old name as a new taxon and then commit a taxon swap, that’s probably the wrong way to do so.

I don’t add “Citrus medica sarcodactylis” and mark it as a false name, I’m guessing

this is exactly what you should do, and make sure you set the lexicon to ‘Scientific Names’

Thank you, I did that.
Then I saw that the taxon already exists..

I will draft a taxon swap anyway.
