Allow Boolean or Advanced Searches

Sometimes I would like to perform advanced searches, more than just a single taxa. For example:

• Search Quercus, but NOT Quercus virginiana
• Search Quercus gambelii AND Quercus laceyi

It would be great if iNaturalist had such a feature, either through an advanced boulean search or drop-down boxes to add additional search features.

I would estimate there are between 3 and 4 dozen search parameters that can be applied to an observation search. The (I think) complete list is here :

Designing a form which shows all of these would be overwhelming for the high majority of users who neither need nor want this level of granularity in their searches.
