Any Documentary recommendations?

Does anyone recommended any good documentaries to watch or articles to read about fauna?
While I’m sure many have probably watched the popular ones such as by Sir David Attenborough, but are there any less well known documentaries that anyone could recommend?

welcome to the forum. you can do a search of the forum for previous topics that will probably provide many answers to your question here. you may even want to consider continuing your question in an existing thread such as: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/favourite-recommend-movies-and-documentaries-on-nature/22499. (if you want to comment on an existing thread that is closed, usually you can ask the moderators group to open it up for you.)

One of my favourite documentaries I’ve seen is “America the beautiful” Here’s the trailer .

You can watch it for free here. There are six episodes.

My Octopus Teacher is a pleasure to watch. I felt like I was floating there along with the camera man.

Naturalist adjacent: recently we watched The Million Dollar Duck, a 2106 documentary about the Federal Duck Stamp Contest, and it was wonderful. I am always so in awe when there is an art thread here. This was like that to the nth degree. Plus wild ducks!

(This should not be confused with the 1971 Walt Disney family comedy by the same name, which was roundly declared terrible and which I do not recommend.)

I loved this. Some have criticized it as having too much about the cinematographer’s life, but the cinematography itself is amazing.
