‘Influencer’ doesn’t seem like the right word. Those are the people who use social media to gain followers for the purpose of selling them garbage or to shill for free stuff from the businesses they review. The people that others have mentioned like Joey Santore or Alexis the Black Forager are more interested in educating people.

Other than the people that have been discussed in this thread and that one, Amy Tan (author of The Joy Luck Club) is big into birding. I used to be in a nature group on Facebook that she participated in. I don’t know if she has an iNat profile, but you could check out her book, The Backyard Bird Chronicles.
