Description of need:
The auto-import process does not strip ‘f.’ from taxa names, for reference the taxon linked above is sourced to https://www.catalogueoflife.org/annual-checklist/2012/details/species/id/10722/source/tree.
This also happens when adding synonyms to existing taxa when the name contains ‘f.’ other rank abbreviations (var. ssp. etc) are automatically stripped out.
