For anyone here who is using bluesky, I’d like to create a Follow List for iNatters.
For those not familiar, this is a compiled list of many different accounts, usually centered around a certain interest. It makes it possible for others to follow everyone on the list with one click, rather than having to find each account individually.
Anyhow, if you’re on Bsky and want to be a part of the list, just comment with your username (or message me if you prefer) and I’ll add you.
I’ll link the list here when I’ve got it up and going.
Edit to add: it’s fine if you don’t generally post naturalist content on bsky, this is more about creating a community with others who have some basic common interests.
You can find me at @guerric.bsky.social. I try to keep the majority of my primary posts focused on sharing photos from observations I make, but I will sometimes post about other topics (particularly books and video games), and I do repost news (mostly Canadian).
I’m on Bluesky but I have a range of interests that don’t necessarily overlap. I always feel I’m boring the Tolkien fans if I post pictures of flies and I’m boring the naturalists if I post Tolkien quotes. (etc)
So, I tend not to post much at all and just follow different focus profiles. And I’m not sure adding my profile to a Naturalist list will help much.
That said, I’m contemplating posting more nature photos/content. So, do with this what you will: @amagpiesnest.bsky.social
If you want pure naturalist content, don’t bother adding my profile.
My username on there is the same as here! @kairune.bsky.social I don’t post there much compared to here, as in I don’t really use my account… but it’s nice to be in touch with folks!
I am on bsky as fishainsley.art but I post 99% furry art and pictures of my cat so I don’t know if that’s what you’re looking for with respect to the follow list.
My bluesky profile links to my iNat profile, didn’t want to bother cutting and pasting. :) Sadly my posts have been more current events than bug photos recently, but I will try to mix it up! There are lots of great photographers, experts, and photographer-experts on bluesky. I’ve learned a lot there.
