I would like to suggest bringing the “Compare with observations” feature to the iOS app.
I remember this feature being available on Android, and I do not understand why it is missing on iOS. In my opinion, it is one of the most important identification tools in iNaturalist.
Its greatest advantage is that it lets users view their own observation and community observations of the selected taxon on the same screen at the same time (for example, your observation at the top and other users’ observations below). This side-by-side comparison makes it much easier to notice important similarities and differences without constantly switching between screens or relying on memory.
Comparing an observation directly with many real examples from the iNaturalist community greatly improves identification accuracy, especially for difficult groups such as insects, fungi, plants, and spiders, where species can be very similar or highly variable.
Please consider adding this feature to the iOS app. I believe it would significantly improve both the user experience and the overall quality of identifications on iNaturalist.

URLs (aka web addresses) of any pages, if relevant:
Description of need:
Describe the iNaturalist community need that your requested feature addresses. Include screenshots, URLs, and other details to help us all understand the issue.
Feature request details:
In detail, describe the feature you are requesting. This includes its functionality, where the feature is implemented, and what it might look like. Screenshots or mock-ups are helpful. The idea is to have a concrete and actionable request which the community can discuss and vote on. It might change through discussion, but it’s much easier to iterate and talk about something specific.
