California State Parks Photo Contest

Greetings all,

The California State Parks Foundation is having a photo contest (rules and submissions here for anyone else who’s interested: https://www.calparks.org/photocontest). I was planning to submit a few entries myself, so I’m soliciting a little feedback to see which photos people like the most. I’ve already narrowed it down to a few of my top favorites, but we are only allowed a limited number of submissions. I’ll set up a poll and post pictures with titles below. If you would select the three you like the most, that would probably give me a good idea of which pictures have the best shot. I am not a professional photographer by any stretch of the imagination, but I would appreciate any feedback you may have as well.

  • Banana Slug
  • Amethyst Laccaria
  • Shelf Fungus
  • Mushroom Buddies
  • Fern Canyon
  • California Slender Salamander
  • Sporing Ferns
  • Grapevines
  • Shooting Stars
  • Dew on Moss
  • Dew on Spiderwebs
  • Honeycomb Coral Slime Mold
  • Fence Lizard
  • Pipevine Swallowtail Caterpillars
