Cannot seem to enable 2-factor authentication

Description of problem:

Cannot seem to enable 2-factor authentication. I click on ‘Add Authenticator’. On my Android (version 8.0.0) I use Google Authenticator and scan the QR code. But then every time I try to enter in the code it tells me “Invalid authentication code. Each code can only be used once.” Tried this multiple times.

I made a test account and it worked fine for me, but I didn’t link my test account to my iNaturalist account. Is your forum account linked to your iNat account?

It’s ok. Looks like I got it to work. It was just the Google Authenticator app. It needed to be time sync’d that’s all. Thanks for the reply though!
