I found that even on the website when I go in to edit the photos it won’t even let me manually rotate them to the proper orientation.
I just tried rotating this picture ( https://www.inaturalist.org/photos/589623143 ) and it won’t change.
Which browser are you using? Are you able to share a screen recording here or with help@inaturalist.org? It’s still working fine for me.
I’ve been trying to rotate photos for the photos on https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/330578773 and nothing is happening (it looks like something is trying to happen but the photos remain unchanged). I’m using Firefox, and I’ve also tried it in Chrome with the same result.
