Completely private project page?

Is there a way to make a completely private project to compile data? I know I can make a traditional project with limitations who can add to the project, but still if one of these select users make an observation that fulfills another projects requirements it is also included. Is there anyway around this?

Ideally I am looking for a project where only specific people can contribute to it and the observations remain private to only those in the group. Hope this made sense!

You can’t have observations that are not public on iNaturalist. You can protect the locations via geoprivacy settings, but the observations themselves will always be visible to others.
