Use the URL addition &identified=false instead of Iconic Taxon Unknown. That will give you only “true Unknowns”.

Yes! It’s literally so annoying how it’s a question mark as in unknown.
I really think that this is a letdown, at least for me. I think that having different colors is very important to make people visualise the diversity that there is in life itself and in microorganisms in particular, the are not the same, but very different organisms, bacteria and archaea have less in common than plants and animals, and virus are just another very unusual and separate thing. Merging them all in the same color hides that diversity IMO.
