Dashboard content growing like a weed invasion

I try to ID observations and sometimes leave comments. This turns out to increase content of my dashboard, and faster than I can clear. On my laptop display it says almost 200. What are solutions?

Do you mean your notifications? One way to reduce notifications is to untick this box under your profile settings
