Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):
I added a few observations from a recent trip to Sabah, Malaysia. The Added and Observed time/date stamps are shown in MYT (Malaysian time). I checked my account settings and my default time is Pacific Time. I think it is a bug that the iNat software is using MYT. At least for the Added time it should use the current time zone which is Pacific.
I am seeing this even for photos taken with an SLR which was never set to local time in Malaysia. So there is no place on the photo file that it could have gotten MYT.

I see this too on Microsoft Bing with my recent observations from Kaua’i that I uploaded from Missouri:

But when I open one of the observations it shows the correct added time zone:

Heh, I think you were one of the first people I ever followed on Flickr, Ameet! Looks like a bug, I made an issue here: https://github.com/inaturalist/inaturalist/issues/4170

Hi Tony, yes I remember exchanging messages with you - on Flickr and on iNat. Hoping to meet you in person one of these days.
