"Dead" annotation key board shortcut

I’m trying to go through a bunch of obs with the word “dead” in the comments and annotate them as dead in the most efficient way possible and failing spectacularly. This may be a personal failure rather than a bug, but who knows. Help appreciated.

Please fill out the following sections to the best of your ability, it will help us investigate bugs if we have this information at the outset. Screenshots are especially helpful, so please provide those if you can.

Platform (Android, iOS, Website): Website

Browser, if a website issue (Firefox, Chrome, etc) : Chrome

URLs (aka web addresses) of any relevant observations or pages: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/identify?reviewed=any&quality_grade=needs_id,casual,research&without_term_id=17&search_on=description&q=dead&taxon_id=355675

Screenshots of what you are seeing (instructions for taking a screenshot on computers and mobile devices: https://www.take-a-screenshot.org/):

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):

Step 1: try to use the “a” key and then the “d” key to annotate as dead

Step 2: as soon as I press “a”, it just agrees (as expected), and pressing “d” seems to do nothing

Step 3: manually delete the ID and annotate as dead…

You need to be on the Annotations tab.

You can get to it with Shift + right arrow, but once you’re there, it’s sticky while in the Identify modal.

In order to annotate, you will need to be on the annotations tab as far as I know. If you are still on the info tab, it will agree.
