Default search place issues

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):

Step 1: when I add South Africa to my default search place in edit account then the pop up appears with South Africa

Step 2: I select SA

Step 3: before I can click on save settings the box is empty, so I can’t select a default search place

I’m not able to replicate this issue in Firefox, I was able to change my default search place and save it without problems.

  • does this happen on other browsers?
  • what happens if you choose a different default search place?
