I have a number of observations which I know are wrong and can find no way to delete them

Hi Chris, welcome to the iNat Forum! You should be able to swipe left on the observation to reveal the red delete button. Check page 20 of the Seek User Guide: https://www.inaturalist.org/pages/seek_app
