Duplicate Project

Am I correct in understanding that duplicating a project does not bring over the registered users?
I tired copying and pasting the registered users from the original project to the duplicate project but that did not work either.

I thought my question was in general so to speak and applied to all projects, but sure : Butterflies In My Backyard (BIMBY) Project · iNaturalist

If so, then no.

Thanks! next question though, there is an option to add members, but when I cut (from the original project) and paste those members into that field, it does not update the project.

users have to be selected from the dropdown. that will show only those users’ observations in the project, which can be different than project members.

As @bouteloua said, these are different than project members. Users have to manually choose to join a project, then they will become a project “member”.
